Congratulations to my cousin Christina on her graduation! I met my long lost cousin right before her senior year of high school when she was still living in Chicago. She ended up getting into Stanford the next year and her family ended up moving to San Diego. So thankful for her!
Late post, but I loved shooting this engagement shoot at Golden Gate Park. It was such a blessing getting to live with my former roommate Kelly this last year and getting to know her fiance James. Couldn’t be more excited for these two getting married in October.
A very late post indeed, but today I was appreciating some of the hidden blessings that came with moving back to SF in the middle of COVID. 2 years in nyc allowed me to miss California and Stanford, and I’m especially thankful this year for how special senior year was.

My dear friend Markayla asked me to take graduation photos for her boyfriend Gabe on SDSU’s gorgeous campus. Fun fact - San Diego State was the first college campus I ever set foot on on a third grade field trip :)
I moved neighborhoods when I was in middle school, and Markayla was one of my first friends! So thankful for this girl and the light she’s brought into my life. I wanted to experiment with natural light, so these were shot at a field just a few steps away from our homes.
Markayla graduated from UC Berkeley recently and is now a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Rady’s Children’s Hospital. Proud of her and all she’s doing as a healthcare worker in these crazy times!

Their podcast features top voices in the tech world - giving you a look into “the room” where it happens. Loved experimenting with indoor lighting at Claudia’s apartment complex.
From competing in a pageant to finding out we got into Stanford together, I’m truly thankful to have gotten to see this one back home in San Diego. One of the rare upsides of COVID19 bringing us back to our hometown :). This gem studied archaeology, classics and anthropology, is a trained classical singer (and was in Talisman, Stanford’s premier a cappella group), and now works at the Human Rights foundation. In true San Diego fashion, we spent a day at Del Mar beach :)
Was honored to get to shoot my first dancer with the lovely Sammy! This girl graduated Stanford with a Physics major and a Theater minor. She was also a Stanford Dolly and is now on to the real world in venture capital and tech. Had so much fun with this beauty in Brooklyn :)
